Apple has a set of allowed sizes for the different device categories. With the introduction of the "Media Manager", you can now provide only the highest possible device sizes and Apple automatically scales down those screenshots for lower resolution devices. By default, all Median apps are universal meaning they run on all iOS and iPadOS devices. Therefore you need to provide and upload iPad screenshots.

Google has no specific screenshot sizes. The only requirements are:

JPEG or PNG without transparency
Minimum size of 320 px
Maximum size of 3840 px
Maximum size should be no more of two times the minimum size
